A public tour of the 415 building and the exciting things going on here, including:

  • Vault Coworking: The heart of Cedar Rapids' startup ecosystem, Vault is home to tech startups, creatives, and other professionals working to build their businesses, as well as education programs for entrepreneurs.
  • The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative, Inc. (NewBoCo): The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative (NewBoCo) is a 501(c)(3) organization located in the New Bohemia neighborhood of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. NewBoCo’s programming supports entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech education to help Iowans become more resilient and thrive in a changing economy. Some of our programs include the Iowa Startup Accelerator, CoderDojo, EntreFEST, GirlsCode++, Intrapreneur Academy, DeltaV Code School, and Corridor Angel Investors.
  • The Catalyst Cafe, our private cafe used as home base for 1 Million Cups, STEM programs for kids like CoderDojo, meetup events for tech and creative professionals, and more.

The tour is free, open to the public, and will last about half an hour. Our weekly 1 Million Cups event kicks off from 8:15-9:15 a.m. leading up to the tour, and you're welcome and encouraged to attend that as well before the tour starts!

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The 415 building is within easy walking distance of anywhere in New Bohemia.

If you drive: park in the St. Wenceslaus Church parking lot on the next lot over. Or, park behind the building, and walk around to the main doors to sign in.

If you bike: we have an outdoor bike rack you can use on the west side of the building.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

You may not take photos or videos during the tour unless given explicit permission by your tour guide.

We ask that you not bring food or drink into the building. If you do, we'll ask that you leave it in the Catalyst Cafe during the tour.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you don't have to bring your printed ticket, but registration is required via EventBrite.

Is it handicap accessible?

Yes.
